This is the fourth book in the Honeysuckle Cove series. It was like coming home to meet some familiar characters and then be introduced to new ones. The characters are so believable as we follow them through trials and challenges. The descriptions of characters and of Honeysuckle Cove are so well done that it seems like you are right there. The story itself is very heartwarming. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.
A sweet second chances romance, Showered by Love is a quick read that leaves the reader with a warm glow. When Jessica returns to Honeysuckle Cover with her life in tatters, she doesn't expect to run into her highschool nemesis. Rogan has caused her enough problems in the past without adding to her present crisis. However, when Rogan once again sees Jessica, the adolescent feelings he had for her take on an adult form, but when the truth is revealed regarding Jessica's condition, Rogan does not handle the situation well, hurting Jessica in the process. Fortunately he is man enough to admit his errors and Jessica recognises that he has qualities she needs if there is to be a future for them. This is the third book I’ve read by this author and all books have been in the Honeysuckle Cove series. It is a stand-alone book, without a cliff hanger ending and written in third person. Other characters from previous books make appearances but their presence is explained so no confusion for the reader.
Jessica and Rogan have a history from high school. He was a troublemaker and she was the good girl. Jessica has returned to her small home town to take the job as kitchen manager of the recently renovated hotel. Rogan has his own landscaping company and is working on the hotel grounds. Both have become adults now and, when they meet again, old feelings come to the surface and the sparks fly!!
Jessica has a secret and has suffered immense loss. She has enough to do to rebuild her life and prepare for her future; she doesn’t need a man or a relationship to conflict with her new job. Rogan can’t fight the attraction he feels for Jessica and works to earn her trust.
This is a sweet, fast read without steamy sex scenes and foul language. I found it delightfully entertaining and enjoyed it. The book is a novella so lots happens in a short amount of time but it didn’t feel rushed. I wished it would have been a longer book as I liked the characters and the plot was paced well.

But just how long can she stay their in her condition and once they find out she is going to have a baby? Will God's grace be shown or will she have to move on?
Rogan Brooks determined to stay single. That is until he comes face to face with this blond in the kitchen at Honeysuckle Cove Inn. Jessica turns around and those eyes he knows those eyes. Looks even good in that cute apron. Yes it is his partner in crime growing up Jessica Marlin. He sees her and know his feelings have not gone for her. But he handle a real big change in his life if he reunites with Jessica?
Another awesome sweet romance by Mary. Loved the story Characters are great.
She’s home to recover from a bad relationship and has a wonderful job at the inn. He’s the boy now man she loved as a teenager, will he help he recover and love again
I loved this second chance story about Jess and Rogan. The Honeysuckle Cove series of books are sweet, clean reads that are perfect for readers of all ages. I’ll be starting Moonlight Kisses next.
This was another short sweet romance. I liked the characters, but the whole story felt a bit rushed. I felt like I was just settling in to enjoy the book when the end came. This was not my favorite of the series, but it was still enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quick feel-good read. I bought this book, but also received a free copy from ebook discovery. This is my honest opinion that I post voluntarily.
